Thank you for your interest in becoming a Maintenance Specialist or a Service Technician in the Pool & Spa Service Industry.

Earn while you learn - Receive a starting wage of minimum wage or higher.
Paid education - Tuition covered by employer.
Wage increases - When all your requirements are completed and confirmed with your employer and PSATC.
Journeyman wages and BONUS opportunity at graduation.
Minimum journeyman wage of $22.00/hr for the Maintenance Specialist and $28.00/hr for the Service Technician after completion of the program.
The reality is that there are few educational opportunities where you can be fully employed and working -- and drawing a salary. That is what PSATC’s Apprenticeship Program can offer, giving you the chance to pursue coursework and journeyman-guided, in-the-field training to improve your job skills – and your employer pays for the cost of that education.
The end goal is to excel in the year-long program, get certified, and then earn a higher salary.
That is a commitment made by the employer on the front end to provide PSATC graduates with a commensurate salary increase once they get State of California certified.
