ROI & Apprentice Investment Rates

Return on Investment (ROI) -- According to the Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) at the California Department of Industrial Relations, employers can expect an ROI of $1.47 for every $1.00 invested.

Employer Fees:

1st Apprentice: $2,900

2nd Apprentice: $2,500

3rd Apprentice (and any additional apprentices): $2,200/apprentice

*CPO fees will be deducted from registration cost if apprentice is already CPO Certified.

Apprentice Investment Rates– PSATC has worked to keep costs as low as possible for employers wishing to enroll apprentices in our Apprenticeship Program. Your investment is less than $1.50 for every hour worked in the 12-month program. Apprentices will be fully educated and trained by professionals, will receive industry certifications, and become certified by the State of California with journeyman status. As an example, your investment of $2,900 could bring an ROI up to $4,263.

The comprehensive education offered by The PSATC would on average cost an employer $6,000 - $8,000 per recruit if offered outside of PSATC’s Apprenticeship Program.
